American Rare Earths Ltd (ASX:ARR)'s Chris Gibbs provides an update on the company's partnerships with research and development organisations in the US. ARR's US subsidiary, Western Rare Earths, is collaborating with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Penn State and University of Arizona researchers to use a naturally occurring protein to extract and purify rare earth elements from abundant, domestic, ore-based feedstocks and waste materials without harming the environment.
