Polarean Imaging PLC (AIM:POLX, OTC:PLLWF) said it had received an order from an existing customer for its Xenon Polariser System.
McMaster University, Ontario, will take delivery of the latest iteration of the kit, version 9800, which will “supplement” its research programme.
Polarean is the pioneer of using xenon-129 gas to enhance magnetic resonance imaging and has created a drug-device product based on its know-how.
Of the latest order, chief executive Richard Hullihen said: "We are excited that this distinguished Canadian academic and research health centre is extending its utilisation of our 129Xe MRI technology.
“This new addition to the University's hyperpolarised 129 Xe MRI research programme will help to support its increasing volume of clinical studies, from both academia and drug industry collaborators. We are pleased to support these researchers' use of our platform as they continue their efforts to advance pulmonary patient care.
