Ridgeline Minerals (TSX-V:RDG, OTCQB:RDGMF) Corp said the focus of this year's exploration will be at its flagship Selena project, where a 5,500 metre (m), eight hole drill program is set to kick off in April.
The aim is to confirm the potential for a high-grade carbonate replacement (CRD) silver-gold-lead-zinc discovery after drill results last year included 4.6m grading 421 grams per tonne (g/t) silver, 0.6 g/t gold, 4.4% lead and 3.7% zinc.
At Selena, a high-resolution drone magnetics geophysical survey is also scheduled for mid-February to cover the entire CRD target area.

"Over the past three years our team has implemented a systematic and disciplined approach to exploration, which yielded a grassroots silver-gold-lead-zinc discovery at Selena and a partnership with Nevada Gold Mines at our Swift project," said Chad Peters, Ridgeline's CEO in a statement outlining the group's 2022 strategy.
At Swift, an initial framework drill hole was completed in January this year by Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) to a depth of 968m with assays pending labs analysis, the firm said.
Under the earn-in deal, NGM can spend a minimum of US$20 million (of which US$4 million is guaranteed) on work over an initial five-year term to earn an initial 60% interest in Swift.
At the Robber Gulch project, Ridgeline will complete low-cost field work in the first half of this year, including detailed field mapping and CSAMT geophysics with potential to add a maiden drill program in the second half of this year.
Meanwhile, Ridgeline's Bell Creek project is seen as a strategic asset with exploration on hold pending results of the NGM owned Ren maiden resource, which sits around 500m east of the property.
"It is expected that NGM will release the results of the Ren resource in H1 2022 which will define the next steps for advancing the property," the firm said.
Similarly, Ridgeline's Carlin-East Project is only 4km north of and directly on-strike of NGM's high-grade North Leeville discovery, an extension of the multi-million-ounce Leeville-Turf mine, said the company.
"In 2022, the company will continue to assess NGM's North Leeville exploration results as their drilling continues to advance towards Ridgeline's Carlin-East Project," it told investors.
Ridgeline is a discovery focused gold-silver explorer with a proven management team and a 163 square kilometre (sq km) exploration portfolio across five projects in Nevada and Idaho, US.
