Plurilock Security Inc. (TSX-V:PLUR) said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aurora Systems Consulting Inc, has received a purchase order totaling US$304,000 from a California state utility organization.
According to the purchase order, which was secured through an open bid process, Aurora will provide the organization with risk-based vulnerability management software and maintenance support. Plurilock said it also aligns with its stated goal of securing contracts across key industry verticals.
Including the latest order, the company said all contracts and orders announced by it and its subsidiaries since January 1, 2022, represent a combined total of roughly US$1.16 million in sales.

Plurilock noted that, according to cybersecurity news site Dark Reading, in a study done on critical infrastructure organizations, 83% of these entities reported that they had suffered a cybersecurity breach in the last 36 months.
“This underscores the importance of utility organizations investing in cybersecurity tools and vendors that understand the challenges posed by the growing cyber threat,” Plurilock said.
