Voyager Life PLC (AQSE:VOY), the cannabidiol health and wellness producer, is venturing into skincare in its latest announcement.
A new division, named voyagerCann, will focus on product creation and development, building on December's acquisition of CBD skincare products maker Cannafull and its associated brand Ascend Skincare.
VoyagerCann will prioritise B2B services including product formulations, white label solutions, manufacturing services and labelling and packaging, Voyager said, continuing its B2B specialism.
The company said the division is in discussions with customers on an order book that, if concluded, would be worth at least £50,000.
Nick Tulloch, chief executive officer of Voyager, said: “Initial discussions with previous customers, along with new contacts, have been very encouraging and they have been impressed with the enhanced service that voyagerCann is now able to offer as part of Voyager.
“Concluding manufacturing and product development contracts is a detailed and time-consuming process; however, with voyagerCann's initial prospective gross order book already in excess of £50,000 in value, I believe this indicates that our original purchase price of £9,000 represented very good value.”
Voyager also said it plans to re-launch Ascend Skincare as part of developments since its acquisition, with the brand having developed three CBD-based botanical facial serums products which the company plans to add to through 2022.
