i(x) Net Zero makes small impact as shares begin trading on AIM

Shares were trading slightly higher than its issue price

Investing company i(x) Net Zero PLC, which says it is focused on “impact investing” in the areas of energy transition and sustainability, received a moderately warm welcome as it began trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange today.

The company raised £10.7mln with a fundraising at 76p per share, giving an initial market capitalisation of just over £60mln.

The shares rose to 77p on debut.

Chief executive Steve Oyer said: "Admission to AIM marks the next step in i(x) Net Zero's development and provides us access to the London market which is at the centre of the impact investing universe.”

He said the new funds provide development and expansion capital to some of its investee companies that fall primarily within its areas of interest.
