The company said the multi-year, area-based permit is for a total of 30 drill sites at Come By Chance, with six sites approved for the first year.

“With the comprehensive geophysical data now available to us through our recent Induced Polarization geophysical survey, we are looking forward to the potential for a significant discovery at this compelling project,” Sookochoff added.
Belmont Resources noted that multiple holes are permitted to be drilled from each of the sites.
It added that initial drilling will test multiple high-priority anomalies identified from 3D magnetic inversion and 3D induced polarization geophysical surveys and rock sampling conducted in 2021.
Belmont said drill targets identified for diamond drilling include: the Hardy Mountain Zone; Lady M Zone; Iron Chief Zone; Betts Zone and; the Eagle Mountain Zone.
The company noted that none of these targets has been tested by drilling, with the exception of a single 1998 drill hole near the Betts occurrence.
Belmont Resources is engaged in the business of acquiring and re-developing past-producing copper-gold-silver mines in southern British Columbia and northern Washington State. This region is considered to have the highest concentration of mineralization and past-producing mines in western North America.
