PyroGenesis Canada Inc and its technology partner HPQ Silicon Resources Inc announced they have signed a new agreement to prepare 4N silicon material samples for an unnamed high-performance material company. The firms said they had inked a non-disclosure agreement to make samples using material produced by the PUREVAP Quartz Reduction Reactor (QRR) pilot plant, which is scheduled to start at the end of the first quarter of 2022.

The company also reported that it has completed the factory acceptance test (FAT) of its 1-megawatt (MW) plasma torch for the iron ore pelletization industry with Client A, a multi-billion-dollar international producer of iron ore pellets. In a statement, the company said the successful FAT was conducted at its manufacturing facility in Montreal in the presence of the Client.

Stifel GMP has repeated its 'Buy' rating on The Valens Company (TSX:VLNS, OTCQX:VLNCF) with a target price of C$5.25 due to its greater confidence in the company’s ability to endure near-term headwinds. In a note to clients, the broker's analysts said they also came away from an investor day more comfortable with Valens’ new guidance that it will reach profitability by the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022 and generate $225 million in full-year sales in 2023 at a 10% EBITDA margin. They said: "This comes at a time when shares are nearing tangible book value, and the company managing through the impacts from the BC floods and supply chain inflation. However, FY22 is expected to be a banner year of sales growth after a busy 2021 of M&A filling white spaces, with VLNS deploying a similar amount of capital as its current EV (embedded value).”

Cloud DX (TSX-V:CDX, OTCQB:CDXFF) Inc said that it has been named to the 2022 New Innovators List. Altiplano Metals Inc (TSX-V:APN, OTC:ALTPF) has reported major progress on its ongoing construction activities at its El Peñón processing facility being built to support copper-gold-iron production from its flagship Farellon mine near La Serena, Chile. In September last year, the Canadian gold, silver, and copper company obtained permit approval to construct and install the copper-gold flotation, iron magnetic separation and a dewatering processing plant. In a statement, Altiplano CEO Alastair McIntyre said: "We are very pleased with the construction progress at the mill site where 90% of the work has been completed.”

EverGen Infrastructure Corp (TSX-V:EVGN) has told investors that its Sea to Sky Soils organic waste processing and composting facility processed approximately 160% of its budgeted tonnage in the second half of 2021. In total, the Vancouver-based company said Sea to Sky Soils processed approximately 36,000 tonnes of organic waste in 2021. Having maintained permit compliance as expected, it said the facility is working with the Ministry of Environment to expand operational capacity in 2022. “Sea to Sky Soils is an important part of EverGen’s RNG (renewable natural gas) infrastructure platform,” EverGen co-founder and CEO Chase Edgelow said in a statement.

Wellteq Digital Health Inc told investors that its technology has been shown to improve sleep and the wellbeing of employees across a large financial institution in Asia. The firm's sleep program was deployed in partnership with data company WTW and a resultant article has been penned called: 'The Hidden Public Health Problem of Inadequate Sleep: Deploying Digital Mobile Technology to Improve Employee Sleep Hygiene in Asia'. This was published in the USA in the Journal of Community Medicine & Public Health Care. The results of the study come from 13 countries, eight enterprise markets and 529 participants and "demonstrate a substantial and clinically meaningful improvement in nightly sleep duration achieved by 59% of employee participants", Wellteq said.

Gratomic Inc said it has signed an indicative term sheet with Millennium Metals LTD (TM2) to supply graphite over 60 consecutive months, beginning upon commencement of commercial production at its Aukam Graphite project in Namibia. The companies forged a strategic partnership with the intention of being the first to industrialize graphite as a commodity. Technology Metals Market, or TM2, is the world's first spot market where direct investment in technology metals is possible. It is quickly becoming the one-stop-shop for electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturers and OEMs.

Looking Glass Labs Ltd revealed that its flagship studio House of Kibaa (HoK) collaborated with Digimental on its non-fungible tokens (NFT) collection. The company said that its technology for the 3D modeling of the NFT infrastructure of HoK was core to the development of the recently launched HAPEBEAST NFT collection by Digimental Studio. HAPEBEAST is an ape-themed collection, and each avatar is unique based on its combination of stylized clothing and accessories, which are all aligned with modern streetwear trends. The company’s 3D modeling technology is currently being used to design, model, and rig the Gutter Cat Gang NFT collection characters for integration into a 3D metaverse. HoK has also previously completed a proof-of-concept for metaverse-ready 3D assets that are compatible with the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection of NFTs, the company said.

First Mining Gold Corp said it has acquired, from two individuals, 286,904 common shares of privately-held Beattie Gold Mines Ltd, which owns the mineral rights to mining claims of the former Beattie mining concession that form a large part of the Duparquet gold project in Québec. The company said it now owns 474,743 shares of Beattie Gold Mines, increasing its ownership to 25.3% from 10.0%. First Mining noted that it paid C$1,272,824 cash plus 7,636,944 First Mining common shares for the 286,904 Beattie Gold Mines shares.

CLS Holdings USA (CSE:CLSH, OTCQB:CLSH) Inc has released its initial 2022 outlook and issued a review of the financial and operational highlights that made 2021 the company's most successful and transformational year to date. CLS pointed out that after experiencing strong performance in the 2021 calendar year, it expects 2022 to be even better and anticipates year-on-year revenue growth to accelerate while maintaining gross margins with continued EBITDA improvement. Despite the Nevada cannabis market decelerating in 2021, CLS saw net revenues increase 44% year-over-year in 2021 and entered into two important joint ventures, which it says should transform the company and add substantial revenue at attractive margins. The company said: "This next year has a lot in store, full of new products and stories to tell. Global Energy Metals Corp (TSX-V:GEMC) announced that it has hired SJ Geophysics Ltd to assemble a complete, extensive, comprehensive and detailed data compilation and interpretation program for its Treasure Box project in Nevada. The company said Treasure Box is considered to be highly prospective with supergene-enriched iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG) style mineralization that includes the potential for discovery of high-grade copper and cobalt. Global Energy Metals noted the compilation and interpretation work will include incorporating the first-ever, high-quality, detailed magnetic survey completed on the property, which highlighted multiple zones of interest, along with all known lithological and mineralogical information and known structural measurements to allow for the framing of a comprehensive structural and geological map that will vector fieldwork towards those areas of highest merit for exploration and target high-priority areas for drilling.

Nova Royalty Corp has announced the completion of its acquisition of a royalty on two copper projects in Arizona owned by Hudbay Minerals Inc. The Vancouver-based company now owns an existing 0.135% net smelter return (NSR) on the Copper World and Rosemont projects, as well as the right of first refusal for another 0.540% NSR covering the same area as the royalty. Nova paid an upfront consideration of US$1 million in cash and $500,000 in shares.

Vox Royalty (TSX-V:VOX) Corp has provided investors a glimpse into its royalty portfolio with recent development and exploration updates from five partner projects. The update highlights the upcoming release of maiden reserves from the Bulong gold project owned by Black Cat Syndicate Limited, which is due in March. Bulong was also awarded a work approval permit, allowing it to progress into construction in the next few months. Vox holds a 1% net smelter royalty on part of the gold project.

Trees Corporation (NEO:TREE.AQN) said it has entered into a definitive agreement to carry out a three-cornered amalgamation which will see it acquire Miraculo Inc, a private Canadian integrated media, technology, and consumer product company that addresses the needs of underserved audiences in the medical cannabis and CBD market. Under the agreement, Trees said Miraculo will amalgamate with 1000101203 Ontario Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company to form an amalgamated entity through which it will acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Miraculo. Miraculo has launched several verticals including 'cannabisMD.com' a consumer-education platform designed to help guide consumers on their exploration of the benefits of medical cannabis and CBD, and 'askCMD.com', a proprietary recommendation engine that guides consumers to those CBD products that best fit their needs. Trees said the amalgamation agreement includes the appointment of Michael Klein, CEO of Miraculo, as chief executive officer and a director of the company and the appointment of G. Scott Paterson, a director of Miraculo, to the board.

Hapbee Technologies Inc (TSX-V:HAPB, OTCQB:HAPBF) announced that it has signed a marketing partnership with Veritone One, a leading full-service performance-based audio and influencer advertising agency and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Veritone Inc. (NASDAQ:VERI) As part of its growth strategy, Hapbee said it entered into the partnership to grow its user base and expand its reach to consumers looking to improve their wellness. Veritone One will provide near real-time actionable insights across multiple media types to drive the highest return on investment possible for the company. "Given their unique ability to provide consumer reach through different types of digital media, we are excited to announce this partnership with Veritone One," Hapbee CEO Yona Shtern said in a statement.

Scottie Resources Corp has announced additional assays from the Blueberry zone on its Scottie Gold Mine project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle region, which included intercepts of 15.3 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 13.5 metres (m) and 18.7 g/t gold over 3.2m. The company said the location of these holes extends the high-grade gold mineralization to a depth of 225m, where it remains open in all directions. “With just over 6,500 metres of drilling over the past two years we've taken our 2019 discovery hole at the Blueberry Zone to a road accessible, high-grade gold target that now exceeds 650 metres in strike and 225 metres depth,” Scottie Resources CEO Brad Rourke said in a statement.

Lion Copper and Gold Corp (TSX-V:LEO, OTCQB:LCGMF), formerly Quaterra Resources Inc, said it has released an updated geology and resource presentation for its flagship MacArthur copper project in Nevada, where it says there is "strong motivation" to complete an updated preliminary economic assessment (PEA). As reported in January this year, the explorer announced an updated resource for the property, which showed a 55% increase in the higher confidence measured and indicated (M&I) category. The M&I resource was pegged at over 1 billion pounds (1,000,383,000) of contained copper from 300.29 billion tons of material at a grade of 0.167%, compared to a previous M&I estimate of 676 million pounds of copper.

Zoglo’s Incredible Food Corp has announced the listing of its Incredible plant-based product line with all Food Basics supermarkets across Ontario and Marché Adonis supermarkets across Ontario and Quebec, further expanding its retail footprint in the Canadian market. The company noted that its Incredible product line, which includes consumer favourites such as chicken strips, meatballs, and burgers, will be available in an additional 157 storefronts in Ontario and Quebec as a result of the new partnership. O3 Mining Inc (TSX-V:OIII, OTCQX:OIIIF) has unveiled positive results from metallurgical testing on its Marban project in Quebec that showed good gold recoveries, better than those assumed in its preliminary economic assessment (PEA). Overall gold extraction at Marban Pit South was 96.7%, while Marban Pit North saw gold extraction at 95.8% and the Norlartic Pit at 91.2%; versus PEA figures averaging 93.7%. Enhanced gravity recovery gold testing recovered 61% to 65% of the gold, with 24 hours of leach time versus the 28 hours estimated in the PEA.

Metal Energy Corp has told investors it plans to commence the first drill program at its high-grade nickel Manibridge project within the next three to four weeks as it prepares to take advantage of rising demand for nickel from electric vehicle manufacturers. Toronto-based Metal Energy noted that the project, located in Manitoba’s Thompson Nickel Belt, incorporates a past-producing mine that produced 1.3 million tonnes at 2.55% nickel and 0.27% copper between 1971 and 1977. It said the fully-permitted drill program is planned for 3,000 metres (m) with seven drill holes all within a kilometre (km) strike of the past-producing mine. A crew is scheduled to start field preparations early next week to clear the trails and pack snow for the proposed drill collar locations, the company added.

i-80 Gold Corp has revealed that exploration drilling at the company's Granite Creek property in Humboldt County, Nevada continues to provide impressive results in step-out drilling completed at multiple gold horizons. The primary target of surface drilling is the South Pacific Zone where high-grade mineralization is being defined at depth below, and to the north of, the mine workings at Granite Creek. The well-financed Nevada-focused mining company shared results from additional targets being tested on the property, including expansion drilling at depth below the Ogee Zone and assessing the down–dip potential of mineralization contained within the Mag Zone. The drilling is part of the expanded 30,000-metre (m) drill program from both surface and underground.

Enveric Biosciences (NASDAQ:ENVB) Inc said that two new molecules, EV104a and EV104b, have been created to treat osteoarthritis (OA) along with other pain conditions and that pre-clinical in vitro testing is now underway. The biotech recently licensed a platform technology from Diverse Biotech that has led to the successful synthesis of the two new chemical entity conjugates of cannabidiol (CBD) linked to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) celecoxib. The two molecules are protected by a recently filed provisional US patent application claiming the compositions, methods of synthesis, and methods of treatment for inflammatory medical conditions, noted Enveric. "We are pleased to announce the creation of EV104a and EV104b for the potential treatment of OA and other pain indications. Delota Corp, formerly called Spyder Cannabis Inc, has announced the opening of its first Offside Cannabis dispensary as part of its strategy to identify and capitalize on lease opportunities within its 180 Smoke Vape Store portfolio. The Canadian cannabis and vape retailer said it expects to organically increase its dispensary footprint to a total of 10 locations in Ontario by fiscal year-end. "We expect to apply for additional Retail Store Authorizations to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) for premises in Hamilton, Ottawa and The Blue Mountains within our existing lease portfolio,” Dan Pelchovitz, CEO of Delota’s Cannabis division said in a statement. “Additionally, we are also exploring strategic acquisitions to further increase our retail footprint," he added.

Mydecine Innovations Group Inc (OTC:MYCOF, NEO:MYCO) has announced that Health Canada has included the dealer’s license the company operates under as a supplier for the Special Access Program, which allows healthcare providers to request specific drugs for approved patients who have not responded to other available treatment options. The licensed dealer facility, available to Mydecine through its exclusive agreement with Applied Pharmaceutical Innovation (API), contains unique research and development infrastructure as well as a manufacturing facility in Edmonton, Canada. This program allows practitioners to request psilocybin and MDMA for a patient with a serious or life-threatening condition where conventional treatments have failed, are unsuitable, or are generally not available in Canada.

MySize Inc said it has acquired Orgad, an omnichannel e-commerce platform operating globally, including the US and Europe, as it expands its business into e-commerce sales. The company noted that Israel-headquartered Orgad operates as a third-party seller on a number of e-commerce sites and currently manages more than 1,000 stock-keeping units (SKUs), mainly in fashion, apparel and shoes, but is capable of managing tens of thousands of SKUs. “The Orgad team has built a strong business as a direct seller of clothing and footwear globally on Amazon.com, eBay and elsewhere,” MySize CEO Ronen Luzon said in a statement.

Doré Copper Mining Corp has reported the latest drill results from its flagship Corner Bay property in Québec, which expanded copper-gold mineralization in two areas of the deposit and showed high grades. The assays hail from five holes, into the main vein above dyke and between the main vein and deep lens, from the 41,063 meter (m) drill program in 43 holes last year at the asset. The work successfully expanded the copper-gold mineralization at Corner Bay in three areas, bringing the total strike length to over 1,100m, noted the company. "With these impressive high-grade copper intercepts, which are much higher than the approximate 3% average copper grade of the deposit, we have now defined a very high-grade zone of approximately 150 meters in length by 250 meters vertical within a key area of the deposit," said Ernest Mast, CEO of Doré Copper in a statement.

Plurilock Security Inc said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aurora Systems Consulting Inc, has received two purchase orders from the US Department of Defense and the US Department of Homeland Security for a combined total of US$306,000. The orders are part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Solution for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) program, a US Government-Wide Acquisition Contract Vehicle (GWAC), the company said. According to the purchase orders, Aurora will provide the Department of Defense with software license and support subscriptions, and the Department of Homeland Security with software maintenance renewal. The Department of Defense, America's largest government agency, provides the nation with military forces for defense and national security. The Department of Homeland Security oversees several areas of domestic security including counterterrorism and cyberspace threats.

XPhyto Therapeutics Corp has told investors that it plans to update on its strategy for its psychedelic medicine program in coming days as the group reported on progress at its three main divisions - Vektor Pharma, 3a-diagnostics and XPhyto Laboratories. In a statement, the bioscience firm noted that subsidiary XPhyto Laboratories Inc was pursuing a "multi-pronged approach" to psychedelic medicine, which included GMP drug synthesis, proprietary drug delivery systems, novel psychedelic analogue engineering, and clinical validation. Elsewhere, at its German subsidiary, 3a-diagnostics GmbH, the group's saliva-based disease detection platform provides XPhyto with the potential to disrupt the diagnostics and rapid test market, it added.

Vicinity Motor Corp. (TSX-V:VMC) has announced the receipt of an initial C$2.6 million grant from Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC), a foundation created by the Canadian government, for the development of zero-emission transit busses. SDTC helps Canadian entrepreneurs accelerate the development and deployment of globally competitive clean technology solutions. The non-repayable grant from SDTC will help Vicinity Motor to introduce its new all-electric, true low-floor wheelchair-accessible fully ADA-compliant, mid-sized, medium-duty bus in Calgary. The project creates an affordable new class of mid-sized buses, providing an environmentally responsible alternative to buses with traditional combustion engines.

Else Nutrition Holdings Inc (OTCQX:BABYF, TSX-V:BABY) has announced that world-class infant nutrition expert, Dr Bo Lönnerdal, has joined its scientific advisory board. TPCO Holding Corp - The Parent Company (OTCQX:GRAMF, NEO:GRAMU) - has announced that Dennis O'Malley, the company's chief operating officer has elected to step down in the spring of 2022. To ensure a smooth transition, The Parent Company (OTCQX:GRAMF, NEO:GRAMU) said O'Malley will remain with the company until March 15, at which time Troy Datcher, chief executive officer of the company is expected to assume his duties and responsibilities. Electric Royalties acquired a royalty interest on zinc production at the Middle Tennessee Mines (MTM Royalty), located in Smith County, Tennessee, United States, in 2021. The MTM royalty is a sliding scale gross metals royalty, with no royalty payable if the zinc price is below US$0.90 per pound, a 1.0% royalty payable at zinc prices between US$0.90 and US$1.10 per pound, and a 1.4% at royalty payable at zinc prices above US$1.10 per pound. Electric holds a 25% interest in the MTM Royalty with the remaining 75% interest held by Sprott Streaming and Royalties Corp.

Aurelius Minerals Inc (TSX-V:AUL, OTCQB:AURQF) has confirmed that, as previously announced, it has issued 423,090 common shares to Sprott Private Resource Lending (Collector), LP (SPRL) in satisfaction of the exercise by SPRL of its participation right to maintain its 12.55% shareholding of Aurelius held at the time of the private placement financing that closed in December 2021. The shares were issued at a price of $0.30 per share for an aggregate value of $126,927. This value, converted to US$98,445, is being credited towards the First Deferred Payment in connection with the acquisition of the Aureus Gold assets by Aurelius from SPRL in January 2020. Since completion of the acquisition, the First Deferred Payment has been reduced from US$2,500,000 to US$1,431,030 through exercises by SPRL of its participation right in respect of four Aurelius financings including this transaction.
