Plurilock Security Inc. (TSX-V:PLUR) said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aurora Systems Consulting Inc, has received two purchase orders from the US Department of Defense and the US Department of Homeland Security for a combined total of US$306,000.
The orders are part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Solution for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) program, a US Government-Wide Acquisition Contract Vehicle (GWAC), the company said.
According to the purchase orders, Aurora will provide the Department of Defense with software license and support subscriptions, and the Department of Homeland Security with software maintenance renewal. The Department of Defense, America's largest government agency, provides the nation with military forces for defense and national security. The Department of Homeland Security oversees several areas of domestic security including counterterrorism and cyberspace threats.

Plurilock noted that, according to Cybersecurity Ventures, global cybercrime is expected to reach $10.5 trillion annually by 2025, underscoring the need for organizations to partner with experienced cybersecurity and IT vendors.
The SEWP V program, launched by NASA in 2015, is the leading information technology (IT) contract vehicle, with government agencies spending $7.9 billion in fiscal 2020. Plurilock said estimates anticipate that agencies will utilize SEWP V for $8.8 billion in contracted spending in fiscal 2021. It said the contract vehicle provides it with the opportunity to access downstream customers in the government sector.
Including the latest orders, Plurilock said all contracts and orders announced by it and its subsidiaries since January 1, 2022 represent a combined total of roughly US$853,000 in sales.
