Bango PLC (AIM:BGO) has been rated as a buy by Berenberg, which has just started coverage of the alternative payments and data platform.

Though smaller than rivals such as Boku, Bango is differentiating itself through its subscription bundling service offered to network carriers, and the ability for both physical and digital goods to be transacted through its platform said the broker.

Chariot Ltd (AIM:CHAR, OTC:OIGLF) said it is excited by a new project in partnership with Total Eren which will see the joint venture partners develop solar power for Tharisa PLC (LSE:THS, JSE:THA)’s platinum mine in South Africa.

The partners have inked a memorandum of understanding with Tharisa which details plans to develop a solar photovoltaic project that will supply of electricity to the mine.

Powerhouse Energy Group PLC (AIM:PHE, ETR:BT81) has appointed Russell Ward and Hugh McAlister as non-executive directors.

Ward has worked at boardroom level across a range of sectors including power and energy, oil and gas, materials handling and processing, said Powerhouse, while stockbroker McAlister has been the executive chairman of Novum Securities Limited since 2018.
