In step with CanExport’s cost-sharing formula of 50:50, the company will be matching this amount for a total of $52,000. The funding will be used to extend business development activities to the US, UK, and Europe while exploring new markets. Forward focuses on the universal challenge of access to clean drinking water through its innovative and cost-efficient Forward Osmosis system, which has the potential to alleviate the global demand for fresh water and reduce wastewater treatment and disposal.

Amarillo Gold Corp announced the filing of an independent technical report according to National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects (NI 43-101) on the Butiá Gold Prospect, which is available on SEDAR under Amarillo Gold’s issuer profile. The company said the main characteristics of gold mineralization in the Butia Prospect are: structurally controlled gold mineralization hosted within hydrothermally altered micro-brecciated sericite granite; the gold mineralization is disseminated occurring over large thicknesses and associated with fluids of alkaline affinity and; mineralization begins at surface and extends to a depth of up to 300 metres. The width of the gold mineralized zones typically varies from 15 to 20 metres.

Star Royalties Ltd (TSX-V:STRR) has highlighted the first ore shipment by Gold Mountain Mining Corp from its high margin Elk gold mine in British Columbia, on which the firm has a 2% net smelter royalty, and which represents cash flow for Star. Under an ore purchase agreement (OPA), Gold Mountain delivers ore to New Gold Inc's New Afton processing plant, 133 kilometres from the mine. The miner is set to deliver 70,000 tonnes of high-grade ore per year in the first three years and then up to 350,000 tonnes annually up to year 11.
Algernon Pharmaceuticals Inc said it has completed enrollment in a Phase 2 study for its repurposed drug NP-120 (Ifenprodil) aimed at idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a chronic, progressive lung disease and chronic cough. The Vancouver-based clinical-stage pharmaceutical development company is projecting a data readout in calendar second-quarter 2022. “We are very pleased to announce this update to the market on our IPF and chronic cough study and we look forward to having it completed and presenting the data,” Algernon Pharmaceuticals CEO Christopher J Moreau said in a statement.
Group Eleven Resources Corp has upsized its previously announced non-brokered private placement to raise gross proceeds of up to C$2.5 million, from up to C$1.5 million previously, via the sale of up to 20,833,333 units of the company at an unchanged price of $0.12 per unit. Each unit will consist of one common share and one half non-transferrable common share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share in the capital of the company at $0.18 per share for 24 months from the date of issue. The company reiterated that the proceeds will be used for mineral exploration in Ireland, including at its Ballywire zinc prospect at the PG West project (100%-interest), as well as for general and administrative purposes.
