Critical Resources Ltd (ASX:CRR) has launched a downhole electromagnetic (DHEM) survey for the Gibsons Prospect of the Halls Peak Base Metal Project, seeking to identify off-hole conductors and geophysical anomalies for further investigation.
The survey will be conducted on four already completed drill holes at Gibsons, constituting about 1,000 metres of down-hole length to be surveyed.

“The Gibsons drilling campaign has been a great success so far and this allows us to gain a greater understanding of the deposit, whilst drilling continues,” Critical Resources managing director Alex Briggs said.
“DHEM surveying is an important strategy for us to identify further targets both laterally and at depth.
“Halls Peak is demonstrating strong indicators that demonstrate its potential and this survey program will assist greatly in planning the next phase of drilling.”
The new drill hole targets will be designed based on information on electromagnetic anomaly positions defined by the DHEM survey, which will mark the most recent survey conducted on the project since an airborne versatile time domain electromagnetic (VTEM) survey was completed in 2012.
