Twenty Seven Co Ltd (ASX:TSC) has gained a more robust understanding of the geology hosted within the Rover Gold Project in Western Australia’s Goldfields, demonstrating that gold mineralisation is present along strike and down-dip from the drilling undertaken in 2019 and 2020.
The company is still awaiting multi-element assays samples but has already received 4-metre composite gold assays for all 31 reverse circulation (RC) holes at Rover.
Highlights from drilling the Harmonic (NASDAQ:HLIT), Four Corners and Blue Hills prospects include:
➢ 8 metres at 0.47 g/t gold from 52 metres;
➢ 36 metres at 0.20 g/t gold from 16 metres;
➢ 8 metres at 0.23 g/t gold from 4 metres;
➢ 3 metres at 0.26 g/t gold from 96 metres (End Of Hole); and
➢ 43 metres at 0.16 g/t gold from 128 metres (EOH)
TSC believes the 8 metres at 0.47 g/t gold intersection is of particular interest, as its drill hole sits adjacent to a massive sulphide previously identified at the Four Corners prospect.
Results will shape future exploration
“This drilling program at Rover achieved its main objective, which was to test bedrock geochemical signatures identified from the gold-in-soil sampling,” Twenty Seven Co CEO Simon Phillips said.
“These results improve our geological understanding of the project and will help shape future exploration programs.
“We look forward to releasing the multi-element assays from all holes completed at Rover in due course.”
TSC will target what it describes as “interesting gold anomalies” within the Blue Hills and Four Corners prospect, which it believes warrant follow-up investigation.
A field team will return to the Rover Project this week to sample the one-metre splits which will be priority tested at the laboratory.
About Twenty Seven Co
Twenty Seven Co is focused on creating value for shareholders from its three core projects - Mt Dimer, Yarbu and Rover - delivering exploration upside in a prime Western Australian gold mining jurisdiction.
The Mt Dimer Gold Project is around 100 kilometres northeast of Southern Cross and hosts a historical open-pit mine that had produced around 8,500 ounces of gold in the mid-1990s.
The Yarbu Gold Project is around 80 kilometres northwest of Mt Dimer and is also proximal to Ramelius Resources Limited (ASX:RMS)’s Marda Gold Project where mining operations are underway and a 280,000-ounce gold resource has been defined.
