PyroGenesis Canada Inc said it has struck a deal with an existing client worth US$3 million (C$4 million) on the purchase of the first of three of the company's 10-ton Drosrite systems as it expands its aluminum processing facilities. The Drosrite system is a process, which maximizes metal recovery from dross - a waste generated by the industry - and for aluminum firms offers an economic and environmental solution, which eliminates landfill and reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. "This purchase order is further validation of the success we are having in introducing our environmental technologies within the aluminum industry,” said P. Peter Pascali, CEO of PyroGenesis.

The two companies reached an agreement on the 1,315-hectare property for consideration of a 2% net smelter return royalty on the claim, purchasable by Engold at any time for C$1 million. Viscount Mining Corp (TSX-V:VML, OTCQB:VLMGF) has announced the results of its exploration drill targets on Passiflora in Silver Cliff, Colorado. “There is immense potential at the Passiflora as drilling identified widespread silver mineralization over 170 meters per hole on multiple drill holes,” said Viscount CEO Jim MacKenzie in a statement. “We are currently pinpointing next steps to unlock the potential for Passiflora resources and will have further info in upcoming news releases." During Viscount's most recent drill program, in September of 2021, a final two holes were drilled in the Passiflora target (21-24 & 21-25). Both holes exhibited significant concentrations of silver.

Cabral Gold Inc (TSX-V:CBR) has revealed impressive assay results from several trenches recently excavated immediately west of the main Machichie target within its Cuiú Cuiú gold project in northern Brazil. The Vancouver-based junior resource company highlighted Trench CT35A, located 285 meters (m) west of the most westerly drill hole at the main E-W trending Machichie main zone, which returned 5m at 8.3 grams per ton (g/t) gold, including 1m at 37.8 g/t gold. The mineralization in CT35A is on strike and interpreted to represent the western extension of the E-W trending main Machichie mineralized structure. This could potentially represent a 60% extension to the known mineralized zone at Machichie, noted the company. This suggests that the Machichie main zone could extend for at least 800m along strike, while still being open to the west.

So far, assays from the first 11 holes of 16 have been received from SPZ, and all holes that have reached the target have returned "impressive gold grades and widths of mineralization". Due to the success, the group said its 2022 drill program has been expanded to around 30,000 (metres) of drilling and additional rigs have been added both at surface and underground "The consistency of high-grade gold mineralization in the South Pacific Zone is truly impressive as the ongoing drill program continues to demonstrate the significant upside opportunity at Granite Creek," said Ewan Downie, CEO of i-80 Gold in a statement.

"The identification of compelling evidence of porphyry-style alteration at depth at Santa Helena is extremely encouraging so early in the drill program, and with a 28 square kilometer area of known surface copper and gold mineralization, we now need to use geophysical exploration techniques over this area to help identify the best drill targets for the second phase of drilling," said Altamira CEO Mike Bennett in a statement.
