Quartix Technologies PLC has received London Stock Exchange’s Green Economy Mark, which it said underlined the vehicle tracking company’s contribution to the global transition to a greener world.
To qualify for the award, companies and funds must generate 50% or more of their total annual revenues from products and services that contribute to the global green economy.
"We are pleased to have received London Stock Exchange's Green Economy Mark, recognising Quartix's contribution to the global green economy,” said chief executive Richard Lilwall.
The award, first introduced in 2019, was made to highlight listed companies and funds on all segments of LSE’s main market and AIM that are driving the green economy, recognising not just 'pure play' green technology companies but others across any industry that make significant contributions to the low-carbon transition.
“The Mark supports Quartix in communicating our green credentials to investors and other stakeholders, highlighting our efforts to support the transition to a low carbon or net-zero economy," Lilwall added.
The methodology behind the award is based on a detailed taxonomy of environmental goods and products and services.
