Wizz Air Holdings PLC (AIM:WIZZ) said it carried 2.39mln passengers in January 2022, representing a 318% increase compared with the same month last year. The load factor rose to 79.6% from 61%.
On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers rose by 67.1% to 23.54mln at a load factor of 76.1%.
CO2 emissions totalled 64.4 grams per passenger/km for the rolling 12 months to 31 January 2022.
For the month of January, CO2 emissions in grams per passenger/km were 24.4% lower compared to same month last year.
