FPX Nickel CEO Martin Turenne joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company is beginning an internal scoping study to further evaluate the option to produce nickel sulphate for the electric vehicle battery supply chain.
Turenne telling Proactive the company feels the high-grade nickel concentrate produced at the Baptiste Nickel Project has the potential to be a significant supplier of high-purity feedstock for the EV battery market. FPX says previous leaching test work on Baptiste concentrate confirmed the Project’s potential.
