Predictive Oncology Inc. (NASDAQ:POAI) CEO Mel Engle caught up with Proactive to speak about the Minneapolis, Minnesota-based group's efforts to market its artificial intelligence-powered drug discovery system.
Engle says the group recently completed its Discovery 21 evaluation, the proof of concept for its AI program named PeDAL. Its program, together with tumor profile data, human tumor samples and active machine learning, power PeDAL to determine the most effective drug treatment for a specific cancer type. The company plans to leverage its existing pharmaceutical relationships to market PeDAL for oncology drug discovery companies.
