Trident Royalties PLC (AIM:TRR) (Trident Royalties PLC (AIM:TRR)) Adam Davidson talks to Proactive London after agreeing to acquire an indirect 1.5% gross royalty over the Sonora Lithium Project in Mexico.
The Sonora Lithium Project is an advanced, development stage asset jointly owned by Bacanora Lithium PLC (AIM:BCN, OTC:BCLMF) (Bacanora Lithium PLC (AIM:BCN, OTC:BCLMF), Bacanora Lithium PLC (AIM:BCN, OTC:BCLMF)) and Ganfeng Lithium, with Ganfeng acting as the project operator.
Sonoroy Holdings Limited, a joint venture company in which Trident holds a 50% interest, has the right to acquire the royalty for a total consideration of US$52mln in cash, US$26mln of which is attributable to Trident.
