Gratomic Inc has announced the resumption of its 5,000-meter diamond drill program on the Capim Grosso graphite project located within the Bahia State of Brazil, aiming to further delineate the graphite mineralization at the site. After having drilled 241.3 meters in 2021, the drilling team temporarily wrapped up drilling over the holiday period, resuming activities on January 15, 2022. The introduction of a second drilling rig, which is currently on-site, has expedited the drilling program, the company said. The ability to drill two holes simultaneously will accelerate the conclusion of the drilling program and will positively impact the announcement of results.

Predictmedix Inc has announced that a clinical study is set to begin in February 2022 with researchers and doctors at a North American hospital to use its patent-pending, proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) technology to detect symptoms of infectious diseases. The Toronto-based company said it is providing one Safe Entry Station to be used to screen staff to provide protection, and two units to screen incoming patients as well as collect symptom data from coronavirus (COVID-19) positive patients that will then be validated by PCR tests. It said it expects that the hospital study will provide third-party independent validation of its Infectious Diseases Detection Solution, ahead of a commercial launch and fulfilling a prerequisite for certification by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). “The data and results from the study will be crucial for our application as a Class II Medical Device and can additionally be used to fine-tune our AI algorithms, further improving efficacy,” interim CEO Dr Rahul Kushwah said in a statement.

Nevada Silver Corporation (TSX-V:NSC) has provided a final update on promising assay results from the 2021 diamond drill program at its Corcoran Silver-Gold project in the mining-friendly US state of Nevada. The Toronto-based multi-commodity resource company said the results are from completed assay data from its recent 3,040-meter (m) diamond drilling program at the outcropping epithermal Corcoran Silver-Gold deposit located 80 miles north of Tonapah, in southern Nevada. In a statement, Nevada Silver CEO Gary Lewis said: "We are very pleased that the last holes of NSC's 2021 Corcoran drilling include further encouraging results. The deposit is clearly not closed by drilling in any direction or at depth.”

Alpine 4 Holdings Inc has announced the formation of RCA Batteries Corporation, a joint venture between its RCA Commercial and ElecJet subsidiaries. The company explained that RCA Batteries will reside under RCA Commercial and will operate as the manufacturer and distributor of the ElecJet family of graphene batteries. Elecjet will continue as a manufacturer of electronic components, a research and development company, and the legal entity holding the company's intellectual property, including patents and software copyrights. Samuel Gong will be the president of RCA Batteries while remaining as president of ElecJet, it added. "RCA Batteries was envisioned long before we closed on our subsidiary RCA Commercial in early December 2021,” Alpine 4 CEO Kent B Wilson said in a statement. “The goal was to enhance the amazing capabilities of the ElecJet family of graphene-enhanced batteries and attach it to a well-known name in the electronics industry," he added. "The merits of this joint venture are immense.”

Los Andes Copper Ltd (TSX-V:LA) has released a corporate outlook for 2022, saying it looks forward to a “steady stream” of drill results from the ongoing drilling campaign at its Vizcachitas copper project in Chile. The company said a key objective of the current drilling is to explore areas that are within the planned open pit from the preliminary economic assessment that for historical reasons were not drilled.

Bridgeline Digital Inc (NASDAQ:BLIN) has “substantial growth potential” in its eCommerce360 digital engagement offerings, Taglich Brothers said in a recent note. The analyst group has a Speculative Buy rating on Bridgeline’s stock, which is currently trading around $1.85 on the Nasdaq. Psyched Wellness (CSE:PSYC, OTCQB:PSYCF) Ltd. has announced that preliminary data from its study with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) indicates that AME-1, the company's key proprietary extract, holds anti-inflammatory properties. The study is examining the anti-inflammatory properties of the AME-1 extract from the Amanita Muscaria mushroom by studying the effects of the extract on mast cells, which are important inflammatory cells present in the skin, gut, brain, and lungs. Prior research performed by the NRC had already shown that AME-1 inhibited mast cell activation of histamine release.

Ridgeline Minerals (TSX-V:RDG, OTCQB:RDGMF) Corp announced that it has inked a deal to acquire 100% interest in the Robber Gulch gold project in Idaho from EMX Royalty Corporation. The earn-in option agreement will give Vancouver-based Ridgeline ownership of the shallow oxide, Carlin-type gold discovery. Ridgeline will also gain a geologic database with technical highlights, the company said. As per the term sheet, Ridgeline may earn a 100% interest in Robber Gulch by making an initial execution payment of US$50,000 and all option payments totaling US$750,000 over a five-year period. Up to $350,000 may be payable in Ridgeline shares.

NEO Battery Materials Ltd announced that it has successfully received the final site approval from the Province of Gyeonggi to construct the commercial plant facility of its patented silicon anode materials, NBMSiDE, for electric vehicles lithium-ion batteries. The company said that through NEO Battery Materials Korea Co Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NEO, it secured land with approximately an area of 106,700 square feet, or 2.5 acres, for the initial phase of the NBMSiDE commercial plant facility. "Our NEO and NBM Korea team have been eager and diligent to receive approval from the Province of Gyeonggi for the past three months as this site in the Foreign Investment Zone was the only remaining land apportioned for companies operating in the battery materials industry,” said Spencer Huh, CEO of NEO, in a statement.

Stifel GMP has repeated a 'Buy' rating on HighGold (TSX-V:HIGH, OTCQX:HGGOF) Mining Inc after the explorer reported regional surface sampling results from its flagship Johnson Tract property in Alaska. As reported on January 25, 2022, the Vancouver-based company shared results for the Milkbone, greater Difficult Creek (DC), Easy Creek (EC) and Kona regional prospects that sit within the northern half of the project area and two-to-seven kilometers (km) on trend from its resource of 0.75 million ounces (Moz) indicated 10.9 grams per ton (g/t) gold equivalent (AuEq) at the JT deposit. The announcement also included scout drill results from the Central fault and Upper DC vein field targets. "HighGold (TSX-V:HIGH, OTCQX:HGGOF)'s exploration prospects remain strong despite the disappointing drill results at the Central fault and Upper DC," the broker's analysts said in a note. "The trend between (and including) Milkbone and Middle DC remains the most prospective target with Easy Creek and Kona filling out the exploration pipeline. From a regional exploration prospective, we look forward to the inaugural 2 holes from Kona. We are also looking forward to the first results from the company's 4,000m 2021 drill program at Croesus in Ontario," they added.

Universal Ibogaine Inc (TSX-V:IBO) said it has entered into an agreement with Psygen Labs to secure a supply of good manufacturing practice (GMP) ibogaine for use in its planned future clinical trial for opioid use disorder and ongoing ibogaine detox treatments at its clinics. The company noted that it is in the process of finalizing its pre-clinical trial (pre-CTA) submission to Health Canada, following which it intends to apply to undertake a clinical trial of ibogaine for use in the treatment of opioid use disorders. The final approval by Health Canada will require it to have an approved, secure supply of GMP certified ibogaine to use in the eventual clinical trial process, it added.

BioHarvest Sciences Inc has prepared investors for a sharp increase in fiscal 2022 revenue following the successful over-delivery of its 2021 targets versus the guidance it provided. The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it expects 2022 revenue to be between US$5 million and US$7 million, representing growth of 2.5 to 3.5 times over 2021. It also projects that it will achieve break-even cash flow in 2023 when the business reaches its first scaling point. For 2022, BioHarvest said it plans to continue to invest heavily in research and development (R&D) as a percentage of total revenue and in building manufacturing capacity for its cannabis vertical in Israel and abroad.

i-80 Gold Corp has announced positive assay results from its ongoing underground drill program at the company's Granite Creek property in Humboldt County, in Nevada. The well-financed Nevada-focused mining company said high-grade drill results from the 4790 Level targeting mineralization in the Otto, Adam Peak and Range Front fault horizons proximal to and below existing mine workings are designed to confirm continuity in one of the initial areas being defined for underground mining. The Otto, Adam Peak, and Range Front fault horizons are three of multiple target areas being drilled with several holes intersecting gold mineralization in multiple horizons, said the company. The 2022 program has been upsized and is expected to comprise more than 30,000 metres (m) from surface and underground.

Neo Lithium Corp (TSX-V:NLC) said it has completed its previously announced plan of arrangement with Zijin Mining Group Co., under which Zijin acquired all its outstanding and issued shares for $6.50 each in cash. The company said it has received all required regulatory approvals for the plan of arrangement, which also included 2872122 Ontario Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zijin. As a result, it said its shares are expected to be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange, and will also cease being quoted for trading on the OTCQX and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange concurrently or shortly thereafter, and that it will apply to cease to be a reporting issuer in all of the provinces of Canada in which it is a reporting issuer.

Karora Resources Inc has announced record annual consolidated gold production of 112,814 ounces for 2021 from its Beta Hunt and Higginsville mines in Western Australia, despite the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Gold sales were 113,628 ounces in 2021. The company also reported fourth-quarter 2021 gold production of 27,925 ounces, with sales reaching 28,734 ounces. Its consolidated cash balance on December 31, 2021, was $91 million, an increase of $4.3 million compared to September 30, 2021, after capital deployment into new mining operations at Higginsville and Spargos.

CO2 GRO Inc (TSX-V:GROW, OTCQB:BLONF) has announced a CO2 Delivery Solutions commercial technology purchase by a US-based greenhouse grower. The owner requested anonymity for competitive reasons, the company said. Proceeds from the $127,750 sale include a down-payment followed by four equal installments every 16 weeks once the project is commissioned by the end of the first quarter of 2022. "This is the largest sale of our CO2 Delivery Solutions technology to date,” said Aaron Archibald, vice president of sales and strategic alliances at CO2 GRO, in a statement.

Sanatana Resources Inc has reported results from rock grab samples from the newly discovered Tarn Zone at its Oweegee Copper-Gold project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. The Vancouver-based mineral exploration company said the Tarn zone was discovered at the end of the 2021 Oweegee field program and is located over 8 kilometers (km) north of the known copper-gold showings at the Delta Zone. The Tarn Zone consists of a strong magnetic anomaly and anomalous copper-gold (Cu-Au) silt geochemistry and forms the eastern portion of the broader Skowill Prospect area of the 310 square km Oweegee property. According to the company, significant grab samples returned 0.438%, 0.40% and 0.335% Cu. The highest-grade sample 420268 also reported 5.72% zinc (Zn). These are the best of the 13 samples collected from the magnetic anomaly, said the company.

American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC) has announced its support for the US Senate’s proposed bill: Restoring Essential Energy and Security Holdings Onshore for Rare Earths (REEShore) Act of 2022, which would establish a strategic reserve of rare earth metal and rare earth metal products. The company said the strategic reserve would build a one-year supply of rare earth elements to meet the domestic needs of the US in the event of a supply disruption. “In the first half of 2022 we will be operating our Noblesville, Indiana rare earth processing facility that will be producing isolated critical and rare earth elements to a 99.5% or greater purity through the recycling of end-of-life permanent magnets and lithium-ion batteries,” American Resources CEO Mark Jensen said in a statement.

Aurania Resources Ltd has updated on activity, saying it would suspend the majority of its field activities in the short term at its Lost Cities-Cutucu project in Ecuador due to recent coronavirus (COVID-19) guidelines. "There are currently 9 active COVID cases among our personnel and our General Manager is in quarantine because a family member is infected. CytoDyn Inc, the biotech focused on the development and commercialization of leronlimab, has reported that it is on the hunt for a new CEO as it unveiled a leadership transition plan. With effect from January 24 this year, the company said it has terminated the employment of Dr Nader Z. Pourhassan as *its CEO and president and added that he is no longer a member of the board. Antonio Migliarese, currently CytoDyn's finance chief, has been appointed interim president. He will also continue as CFO. "Now is the right time for the next phase of CytoDyn’s evolution, as we focus on continuing the clinical progress of leronlimab and ultimately securing regulatory approval and commercialization," said Scott A. Kelly, the chairman and chief medical officer at CytoDyn in a statement. A committee of three board members has been appointed to search for a new permanent CEO.

Midwest Energy Emissions Corp - ME2C Environmental - announced that it has entered into an agreement with AC Midwest Energy LLC (Alterna), an affiliate of Alterna Capital Partners, a registered investment advisor, which extends the closing date deadline for the debt repayment agreement with Alterna, previously announced in June 2021. The agreement will repay all existing secured and unsecured debt obligations presently held by Alterna. The original terms of the agreement remain consistent with a new closing date of no later than June 30, 2022. "As a long-term holder of ME2C stock, the extension agreement reached with Alterna, shows this partner’s increased interest in the value of our company and strategic growth initiatives,” said Richard MacPherson, chief executive officer of ME2C Environmental. "Alterna’s agreement to accept a significant portion of the debt in equity, rather than a cash payment, is a testament to their confidence in our ability to move forward successfully.
