Big Technologies PLC (AIM:BIG) forecast that profits for 2021 will be slightly higher that current market expectations of £20.2mln and said new customer wins underpin its prediction for further growth in the current year.
The remote people monitoring technology company, which floated on AIM last summer, expects revenue for the year ended 31 December 2021 of at least £36.5mln, up from £29.6mln the year before.
In the current year, revenue is expected to grow at the same rate as last year, while the adjusted EBITDA margin is also forecast to improve as the company enters new geographic markets and scales up its business.
Chief executive Sara Murray commented: "Big Technologies expects to deliver a strong performance for 2021 and beyond. Our business model is one of long term partnership with our customers and has proven to be extremely resilient."
The company had net cash of £48mln at the end of December.
"Following our successful IPO in July 2021, we have the financial resources to continue to increase our investment in our market-leading technology solutions and grow our footprint both organically and through acquisition," said Murray.
Shares climbed almost 3% to 315.50p in early trade.
