Go-Ahead Group announces further delays on the line for full year results

The accounts were due to be published before 4 January

Go-Ahead Group PLC (LSE:GOG) said its auditors demanded more time to run the rule over its results for the year to 3 July 2021, pushing them even further past their deadline.

The train and bus company warned last month it was unlikely to get its accounts published by the 4 January deadline, leading to its shares being suspended. The delay is down to it and its partner Keolis being accused of a serious breach of its "good faith" obligation by the Department of Transport (DfT).

When that deadline duly chugged past, Go-Ahead then said it expected to have the accounts to be sorted by the end of the month.

But today the FTSE 250 group said publication is now expected to be "before the end of February 2022", with trading in its shares and corporate bond to remain suspended.
