Imugene Ltd (ASX:IMU, OTC:IUGNF), a clinical stage immuno-oncology company, is set to undergo a shift in personnel with the company’s chief medical officer Dr Rita Laeufle retiring from her role at the end of January.
Dr Laeufle has played a crucial role in advancing Imugene’s clinical efforts at an important time in the company’s journey.
“We thank Dr Laeufle for her valuable contribution over the past 16 months and wish her well in her retirement,” CEO Leslie Chong said.
Imugene is now in negotiations to recruit a high-calibre oncologist and clinical developer to the role of CMO to bolster the experienced executive team.
The company will update the market when it has finalised the new appointment.
