Supermarket Income REIT applies for premium listing on LSE

Since its IPO, SUPR’s market value has risen to £1.2bn from £100mln.

Supermarket Income REIT PLC (LSE:SUPR) is planning a switch to the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange.

The trust was listed on the Specialist Fund Segment in July 2017 as the UK's first REIT dedicated to investing in grocery properties but said a switch to premium would make it eligible for inclusion in the FTSE UK and the FTSE EPRA NAREIT Index Series.

Since its IPO, SUPR’s market value has risen to £1.2bn from £100mln.

The company added it has already submitted an application to UK regulator the FCA for migration of its listing.
