Ethernity Networks Ltd (AIM:ENET) told investors it is growing business relationships in Asia where it now has multiple new distribution arrangements and a collaboration with a Tier-1 Japanese original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
The network technology group’s new distribution arrangements are for its FPGA systems-on-chip (SoCs) and system solutions. The tie-ups are with distribution and semiconductor trading companies and will cover the Taiwanese, South Korean, and Japanese markets.
With the Japanese OEM the collaboration was entered into at the end of 2021 to fulfill an order, for a number of Ethernity's ACE-NIC100 FPGA SmartNICs. Ethernity noted that it is now working with the OEM to adapt SmartNIC to work within the OEM's 5G virtualization environment.
"We are very excited with the new distribution arrangements which will allow us to expand our reach into the Asian Market,” said David Levi, Ethernity chief executive.
“The order from the Tier-1 Japanese OEM is the first step towards what we hope will be a wider relationship with the OEM, leading to larger orders. It is a sign of confidence from the industry of the quality of products being offered by Ethernity."
Ethernity will, meanwhile, exhibit its ACE -NIC100 for VNF offload and acceleration technology and its programmable routing platforms, at the Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona from 28 February to 3 March.
