XLMedia PLC (AIM:XLM, OTC:XLMDF) said Christopher Bell will step down from his role as non-executive chairman.
Bell spent nearly eight years at the digital performance publishing company, supporting it through its IPO in 2014 and helping deliver successful strategic acquisitions, the statement said.
More recently, Bell provided key support throughout the restructuring of the business.
“Chris has been very supportive as we have sought to restructure to become more agile and align the business with new growth markets, an initiative we will complete during the first half of this year,” said chief executive Stuart Simms.
XLMedia said Bell’s decision will allow him to focus on his recent appointment as non-executive chairman of Nueva Codere, an international gaming operator.
Bell will assist in “the orderly transfer” to a new chair.
“It feels like the right time to step aside and let someone new support the business through its next phase of growth,” Bell added.
