Algernon Pharmaceuticals CEO Christopher Moreau joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has received positive feedback from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration at their pre-Investigational New Drug meeting in regard to using Ifenprodil for the treatment of chronic cough.
Moreau telling Proactive the FDA has requested standard genotoxicity testing be completed prior to beginning the Phase 2b study. The company expects to have this completed in approximately 90 days
