Tocvan Ventures Corp. (CSE:TOC) has announced that its vice president of exploration, Brodie Sutherland, will replace co-founder Derek Wood as the company’s new president, CEO, and corporate secretary.
Tocvan said the changes will better align with the technical and professional expertise required to advance the company’s precious metals projects towards development.
Wood will remain a company director and strategic advisor.
“Derek will remain an important advisor to the board while our focus remains on the advancement of our two quality gold-silver assets in Sonora, Mexico,” Sutherland said.

The company also reported that its new website, tocvan.com, has gone live.
Tocvan also said it has postponed the company’s scheduled annual general meeting (AGM) to a later date due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, which has resulted in delays obtaining court and shareholder approval of the Cascade Copper spin-out transaction.
The company added it will provide a further update once a final date for the meeting can be set.
Tocvan Ventures is earning into the Pilar gold-silver project and the El Picacho gold-silver project in Sonora, Mexico.
