Aston Martin grabs Vivo chief financial officer

The search for his replacement at Vivo is underway

Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings PLC (LSE:AML) announced the appointment of former Williams F1 director Doug Lafferty as chief financial officer (CFO).

Lafferty will join from FTSE 250 company Vivo Energy PLC (LSE:VVO), which he is expected to leave no later than 13 July.

Prior to Vivo, where he has been since March 2021, Lafferty spent three years as CFO of the Williams Grand Prix team and 16 years in a wide range of senior finance and leadership roles at British American Tobacco.

Lawrence Stroll, executive chairman of Aston Martin Lagonda, said, "His experience as a FTSE 250 chief financial officer, his work for the Williams racing team and his multinational experience make him a phenomenal addition to our leadership team.”

Lafferty said, "This is an exciting time to join Aston Martin, with the company establishing a stunning product pipeline, a renewed culture of operational excellence and a world-class leadership team.”
