Media Tech SPAC Plc has appointed highly experienced Warner Bros Entertainment director Frank McDonnell as its new chief financial officer.
He joined the media industry in 1993, initially working for Filmbank Distributors, before moving to Warner Bros in 1997 where he was executive director of finance, operations and strategy until late 2019.
While at Warner Bros, he worked on all the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, as well as films from the DC universe, including Aquaman, Wonder Woman and the Dark Knight trilogy.
Chief executive John Mahtani, who worked with McDonnell at Warner Bros, said "we developed a very strong working relationship - managing many successful projects together".
"I believe his skills, knowledge and experience in finance as well as media and technology will be invaluable as we now evaluate various acquisition targets and then subsequently in listing and growing our business.
"This is an exciting time for MTS and we look forward to reporting on our progress."
