Magnis Energy Technologies Ltd (ASX:MNS, OTCQX:MNSEF) CEO Frank Poullas tells Proactive the vertically integrated lithium-ion group is advancing its Endicott, New York-based lithium-ion battery plant to its semi-automated phase to begin production at high volumes, with the aim to scale it to fully automated towards the end of the first half of 2022. Poullas says the group's plant is one of the largest battery plants in the US, where he says the group soon hopes to meet domestic and global demand for the metal. Poullas says it has already secured multiple off-take partners.
