Rotork promotes new CEO from within

The company is a global provider of mission-critical flow control and instrumentation solutions for oil & gas, water and wastewater, power, and CPI applications

Rotork PLC (LSE:ROR), the FTSE 250-listed engineer, promoted divisional managing director Kiet Huynh to chief executive of the group with immediate effect.

He takes over from Kevin Hostetler, who in August announced his plans to leave the company, but will remain available to facilitate a smooth transition, the company said.

Huynh was lately managing director of Rotork’s water & power and chemical, process, and industrial (CPI) divisions.

Chair Martin Lamb said Huynh “has the leadership skills and operational experience to build on the excellent progress made over the last four years through the growth acceleration programme, and to chart a course for accelerated growth in the years ahead”.
