NetScientific PLC (AIM:NSCI) said its investee company ProAxsis made significant progress last year.
Among the highlights for the diagnostics business was the development of NE Premium assay with 100-fold improved sensitivity to the current product.
It also struck two key ‘in-licensing’ deals - one with the University of Geneva for a bone health technology, the other with AstraZeneca for a Covid antibody assay. At the same time, it made progress with a device that measures the severity of coronavirus.
NetScientific, an international life sciences and sustainability technology investment and commercialisation group, owns 95% of ProAxsis.
The former’s chairman, John Clarkson, said: "We are delighted with the continued progress being made at ProAxsis with accelerated developments, new products and additional revenue streams in 2022.
“In these challenging times, we can help deliver real benefits to the community, through the application of ProAxsis' expanding expertise and are looking forward to a successful 2022."
