Belvoir Group PLC (AIM:BLV), the East Midlands-based property group, said Michelle Brook will become the new financial services director with immediate effect.
Brook joined Belvoir in 2017 when her company Brook Financial Services Ltd (BFS) was acquired by Belvoir.
She has managed in financial services for over 25 years, including as a regional sales director for Mortgage Advice Bureau before setting up BFS in 2010.
Since 2017, Brook has been managing director of the BFS business within the Belvoir Group.
"Michelle has been instrumental in the successful and profitable growth of Belvoir's financial services division over the last four years and brings a significant amount of experience to the senior management team,” said Belvoir chief executive Dorian Goncalves.
"Michelle will play a crucial role as we continue to expand our financial services offering following the exceptionally strong sales market of the last year," he added.
The new appointment underlines the importance of financial services to Belvoir’s growth strategy, the company said.
Also with effect from today, Mark Newton, founder of Newton Fallowell Limited and Executive Director of the Belvoir Group, is retiring and will become a Non-Executive Director of the group.
Belvoir’s board also plans to appoint another independent NED in due course, it said.
