Hiremii Ltd (ASX:HMI) will bring in the new year by welcoming Andrew Hornby to the role of managing director following the resignation of chief executive officer and managing director Chris Brophy, effective today.
Hornby is the company’s chief commercial officer as well as chief executive officer of Inverse Group Pty Ltd, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the technology-driven full-service labour hire and recruitment company.
“Significant contributions”
Hiremii chairperson Alison Gaines said "Chris has made significant contributions to Hiremii since joining in the company.
"This has included progressing/guiding the business of the company and Hiremii's listing on the ASX. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours."
Gaines added: "We are pleased to welcome Andrew Hornby as managing director.
"Andrew has extensive recruitment and labour hire experience across the digital and resources industries throughout Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
“He is currently a board member of the Energy Club of Western Australia.”
Wealth of experience
"Andrew brings a wealth of industry experience and expertise and we look forward to continuing to work with him in this new role,” she said.
Hiremii has two core business components, Hiremii Recruitment Pty Ltd, a fixed fee recruitment business, and Oncontractor Pty Ltd, a recruitment and full-service labour hire business, providing digitised employee onboarding and labour hire services.
Both businesses use Hiremii's cloud-based platform which utilises machine learning and artificial intelligence to remove the tedious manual tasks associated with the recruitment and onboarding process, pre-vetting and shortlisting candidates based on employers’ specific requirements.
