ImmuPharma PLC (AIM:IMM, OTC:IMMPF) has raised £3.55mln in three separate tranches to fund its research and development portfolio.
A total of £1.2mln will come from Alora Pharmaceuticals, the parent company of ImmuPharma’s partner, Avion Pharmaceuticals.
Additionally, the group has inked a £2.2mln subscription agreement with funding group Lanstead Capital, while a ‘long-standing institutional investor’ is acquiring £150,000-worth of shares.
Crucially, they are buying in at 11p a share – an 80% premium to the share price as of last Friday.
"Our corporate repositioning since the board changes in August continues at a pace,” said ImmuPharma chief executive, Tim McCarthy.
“These have been recognised by our long-term shareholder Lanstead, a firm supporter of ImmuPharma since 2016.
“We are also delighted that our partner, Alora Pharmaceuticals has also recognised the shift in the company's investment and corporate proposition, supporting this fundraising at a significant premium to our current share price, together with Lanstead and another longstanding institutional investor.”
The Lanstead subscription agreement will provide ImmuPharma access to funds incrementally over the next two years.
