Radiopharm Theranostics Ltd (ASX:RAD) has enhanced the skillset of its management team with the appointment of three senior executives.
The company has appointed experienced drug development executive, Dr Scot Harper to the position of senior vice president of clinical operations.
In addition, radiopharmaceutical drug development expert Dr Gitasha Chand will take up the role of global medical director of the company.
Furthermore, Dr Levente Meszaro, an expert in molecular imaging and radioconjugate development has been appointed to the position of global director of Translational Science.

Welcoming the new appointments, Radiopharm managing director and CEO Riccardo Canevari said: “We are excited to add these highly experienced and specially skilled professionals to the RAD management team and I am confident Scot, Gitasha and Levente will add enormous value to RAD in their new roles.
"These new appointments complement the team of industry experts assembled by RAD this year as it continues to test its portfolio of licensed assets that include peptides, small molecules and monoclonal antibodies.
"The company has five Phase 2 and two Phase 1 clinical trials underway.
"Canevari is leading the management team after his appointment in September 2021 with Professor David Mozley, former Professor of Nuclear Medicine at Cornell University, appointed chief medical officer and Dr Thom Tulip appointed chief technical officer in recent months.”
Senior vice president
Dr Harper has spent his entire professional career in drug development, having held positions of progressively increasing responsibility at the VP level with companies including Eli Lilly, Novartis, and Parexel.
He was also the SVP of Clinical Development at Endocyte, working on radiopharmaceutical imaging and therapies.
Global medical director
Joining RAD from January 1, 2022, with a focus on early phase trials, Dr Chand is a physician with special expertise in radiopharmaceutical drug development.
At NanoMab Technology Limited, she heads the Clinical Research department where she successfully planned and oversaw the completion of two early Phase 1 studies in Shanghai, targeting PD-L1 expression in non-small cell lung cancer and HER2 expression in breast cancer.
Dr Chand previously worked on Phase 2 clinical development of 188-Re HEDP, a radiopharmaceutical for palliative treatment of metastatic bone disease.
Earlier in her career, she was a resident trainee physician at Shanghai East Hospital specialising in emergency and disaster medicine.
Global director of Translational Science
Dr Meszaros, also joining RAD from January 1 2022, is an expert in molecular imaging and radioconjugate development.
He is director of Technical Operations at NanoMab Technology, overseeing non-clinical tracer development, technology transfer and GMP manufacturing of small molecules.
Before joining NanoMab, Dr Meszaros worked as project leader at BioProbe Ltd, a nonclinical CRO, and as a quality control scientist at Theragnostics Ltd.
Earlier in his career, he was a research associate at King’s College London, where his research focused on the development of radiolabelled peptide hormones.
