BATM’s order from Russia for its at-home ‘RAPiDgen SARS-CoV-2’ antigen test should be the first of many, according to house broker Shore Capital.
The test is to be sold in Russia via pharmacy outlets and e-commerce platforms and gives results in 10 minutes using the lateral flow method.
The test has been developed by the group’s Adaltis subsidiary and partner Gamidor Diagnostics and is the only ‘self’ test licensed for home use in the country with a one-step process and no liquid handling involved.
Shore added the RAPiDgen test solution is a strong example of BATM’s product capabilities.
With positive, visible, underlying operating development across both Networking & Cyber and Bio-Medical (which includes diagnostics) divisions, there is long-term scope for upgrades, said the broker.
