Phoenix Copper Ltd (AIM:PXC, OTCQX:PXCLF) CEO Ryan McDermott tells Proactive precious metals group says drilling from its Empire Mine Open Pit Project in Idaho showed 'exciting' results, with one of the drill holes showing 18 meters of copper grading 0.61%.
McDermott says this exceeds the average grade in the existing resource, which will be included in the updated resource in 2022. He adds the project remains on course for production, and the feasibility study remains on schedule for completion in early Q2 2022.
