Etruscus Resources reveals positive results from its field exploration program at the Rock & Roll property in British Columbia's Golden Triangle

The 2021 field season has brought a significant amount of clarity to the prioritizing of exploration targets at Rock & Roll, the company said

Etruscus Resources (CSE:ETR, OTC:ETRUF) Corp has released new field exploration results at two targets on its Rock & Roll property in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle as it gets set to expand its program in 2022.

At the Heather Zone, the company recently completed a 400 metre by 400 metre soil grid survey, with results indicating that a pyrite stockwork zone contains anomalous copper-molybdenum-gold-arsenic with a zinc halo – coincident with a geophysical magnetic high, Etruscus said.

Of the 52 soils collected in this area, 10 samples returned greater than 50 parts per billion (ppb) gold, including a high of 3.17 grams per ton (g/t) gold in soil.

Another 12 samples returned greater than 150 parts per million (ppm) copper and 13 samples greater than 20 ppm molybdenum within a cluster directly over the identified stockwork zone.

Additional silt sampling and contour soil lines to the north and east of the Heather Zone suggested that additional targets may exist, including several coincident copper-molybdenum in-soil anomalies that are associated with local geophysical magnetic highs, according to a release.

At the Discovery Zone, the 2021 soil and silt sampling program expanded strong anomalous silver and molybdenum numbers, with anomalous molybdenum identified down slope from the showing.

The geology and geochemistry suggest that the Discovery Zone represents high level alteration of a robust hydrothermal system that may have a porphyry copper-molybdenum deposit at depth, according to Etruscus.

Work completed on the Sugar property identified multiple new skarn showings with elevated copper, Etruscus added.

The firm has received a drill permit that allows up to 80 sites and is valid until 2026, the company added.

"The 2021 field season has brought a significant amount of clarity to the prioritizing of exploration targets at Rock & Roll,” Stephen Wetherup, the firm’s vice president of exploration said in a statement.

“A clear path has been established with the focus on two robust hydrothermal systems that have seen minor geochemical sampling and no historical drilling to date. Both targets are partially hidden with a thin layer of younger volcanic cover rocks which is why they have not been worked on historically. Identifying such systems is where future discoveries will be found in the Stikine Terrane as the obvious targets in the area have already been tested."

Etruscus Resources (CSE:ETR, OTC:ETRUF) is a Vancouver-based exploration company focused on the acquisition and development of precious metal mineral properties.
