Hawkmoon Resources Corp (CSE:HM) has revealed assay results for 12 drill holes from its 5,031-metre (m) summer drill program on the Wilson gold project, situated 15 kilometres (km) east of the town of Lebel-sur-Quévillon, Québec and 170 km northeast of the city of Val-d’Or. The Vancouver-based company said all the holes intersected at least one altered and mineralized zone. HMW 21-24 was drilled west of the historical Midrim drill holes and identified a near-surface gold zone, which will be a new target for the 2022 field program on Wilson. The holes were drilled east of the Toussaint showing and include the Midrim area. Assay results are pending for the final two holes of the program, it added. "We are very pleased with these excellent values from our summer 2021 drill program on Wilson,” Hawkmoon president Branden Haynes said in a statement. “Discovering an initial western extension of the Midrim is particularly positive for Hawkmoon."

At the Heather Zone, the company recently completed a 400 metre by 400 metre soil grid survey, with results indicating that a pyrite stockwork zone contains anomalous copper-molybdenum-gold-arsenic with a zinc halo – coincident with a geophysical magnetic high, Etruscus said. Of the 52 soils collected in this area, 10 samples returned greater than 50 parts per billion (ppb) gold, including a high of 3.17 grams per ton (g/t) gold in soil.

Globex Mining Enterprises Inc told shareholders that it has optioned its advanced Magusi polymetallic mine situated north of Quebec's Rouyn-Noranda city to Electro Metals and Mining Inc. As part of the deal, Globex will receive from Electro Metals roughly $6.40 million in cash staggered over 48 months and around 9 million shares in two different installments, as well as the indicated minimum project expenditure in exchange for 100% interest in the Magusi property, subject to a 3% Gross Metal Royalty (GMR). The Magusi project consists of 153 claims and one mining concession totaling 13,993 acres in the Duparquet, Hebecourt, and Montbray townships, in Quebec. The property is determined by a series of acid to intermediate volcanic rocks which strike east-west across the length of the property and host the previously mined Fabie Bay Deposit and unmined Magusi Deposit.
MegumaGold Corp said it has kicked off drilling at its Elmtree gold project in New Brunswick, where it plans to sink up to 2,000 metres. Elmtree hosts two significant gold deposits on the property - the West Gabbro Zone and the South Gold Zone. According to a 2008 technical report, West Gabbro hosts 525,000 tons of indicated gold for nearly 1.3 million gold grams, with another 1.6 million tons or 3.1 million grams in the inferred category. The South gold zone hosts 2.4 million tons or around 1.8 million gold grams.
Loncor Gold Inc. (TSX:LN, OTCQX:LONCF) said the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) of the main Adumbi gold deposit within its 84.68%-owned, 122-square-kilometer Imbo project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has shown favorable results. The Adumbi PEA was prepared for Loncor by mining and engineering consultants led by New SENET. The PEA pointed to an average annual production of 303,000 ounces of gold over a 10.3-year life of the mine within the proposed pit shell. "The results from the Adumbi PEA demonstrates a robust project with an average of +300,000 ounces of gold per annum over 10 years with low total cash costs and all-in sustaining (AISC) costs of US$852 and US$950 per ounce respectively over the life of the mine (LOM) for the HEP Hybrid power case,” said Loncor’s President, Peter Cowley, in a statement.

CleanSpark Inc has reported its results for the three and 12-month periods ended September 30, 2021, showing strong revenue growth and a big rise in working capital. The company had working capital of $47.7 million as of September 30, 2021, compared to $2.9 million a year earlier, an increase of $44.8 million. For the three months ended September 30, 2021, CleanSpark reported revenue of $27.1 million, an increase of $25.15 million, or nearly 1,300%, from $1.95 million for the same prior-year period. In a separate statement, CleanSpark Inc also announced that its board of directors has appointed Gary A. Vecchiarelli as chief financial officer of the company, succeeding outgoing CFO, Lori Love.
Nomad Royalty (TSX:NSR) Company Ltd said it has paid the first deposit of US$13.3 million under the previously announced gold stream deal with Orion Mine Finance and also updated on its asset portfolio. As reported in October this year, Nomad struck a US$95 million gold purchase deal with Orion Mine Finance over the latter's 40% interest in the Greenstone gold project, which is set to become one of Canada's largest gold mines. Nomad was required to make up-front cash payments totaling US$95 million, of which US$13.3 million was made yesterday, for 5.938% of gold production attributed to Orion's 40% interest until 120,333 ounces have been delivered, and 3.958% thereafter. A second and final deposit of US$81.7 million is expected to be advanced no later than June 30, 2023, under the deal.

Tocvan Ventures Corp said it has started drilling again at its Pilar gold-silver project in Mexico with between 5,000 and 8,000 meters (m) planned between now and July next year. An initial phase of 3,500m is planned for the first quarter of 2022, which will be followed by up to 4,500m. The focus will be on continued step-out drilling along the Main Zone Trend and new 4-Trench Trend, while exploration drilling will continue to evaluate target areas along the Triple Vein Zone. The Kirkland, Quebec-headquartered company said the lists now appear on the Quebec List of Medications and the Nova Scotia Drug Formulary following the acceptance of the asthma medications by the Novia Scotia Minister of Health on December 2 and Quebec’s RAMQ (Régie de l'assurance maladie) on December 15. It noted that public coverage in these jurisdictions also means that private payers mimicking the public plans will now cover both drugs. Therefore Enerzair and Atectura are now covered for more than 90% of privately covered lives across Canada, it added.
Cabral Gold Inc (TSX-V:CBR) has released new assay results from the PDM target at the Cuiú Cuiú gold project in northern Brazil showing high-grade gold intersections beneath the recently identified gold-in-oxide blanket. Results included 22.4 meters at 4.8 grams per ton (g/t) gold, including 1.35 meters at 62 g/t gold and 1.3 meters at 9.5 g/t gold. Cabral said that drilling has confirmed the PDM gold-in-oxide blanket is underlain by a “significant” zone of high-grade mineralization in the underlying rocks.
NEXE Innovations Inc (TSX-V:NEXE, OTC:NEXNF) told investors it had completed the so-called site acceptance test (SAT) for high-speed, automation equipment at its facility in British Columbia, paving the way for the company to produce an additional 50 million compostable coffee pods a year. It comes after the company successfully completed its factory acceptance test (FAT) in October at its manufacturing partner's facility in Europe. This is the first of two custom machines that were ordered by NEXE, before the pandemic, in February 2020.
Lumina Gold Corp (TSX-V:LUM, OTCQX:LMGDF) said it has secured two additional drill rigs to expedite the previously announced 30,000-metre (m) drill program at its Cangrejos gold-copper project in Ecuador. The company said the program will now utilize six drill rigs beginning early next year. The two active rigs at the site have drilled approximately 2,700m, with five diamond drill holes completed and two in progress. A third rig is on-site and is being mobilized to the Gran Bestia deposit, it added. As previously stated, the infill program is designed to convert the project’s Inferred mineral resource estimate to the Measured or Indicated categories, for inclusion in a pre-feasibility study (PFS). Additionally, the drill holes will also step out on the existing mineral resource laterally, provide further material for metallurgical testing and be used for advancing geotechnical and hydrogeological studies.
