Apollon Formularies PLC (AQSE:APOL) chairman and chief executive Dr Stephen Barnhill tells Proactive the group started treating its first cancer patients using cannabis-based therapies at the International Cancer and Chronic Pain Institute in Kingston, Jamaica.
Dr Barnhill says the company’s formulations were recently shown to be highly effective in killing cancer cells in a pre-clinical assessment by BIOENSIS in the US using state-of-the-art 3D cell culture testing.
