Head of ESG at Pollen Street Capital, Alison Collins joins Proactive London to talk about her role having been in the position for 3 years and over that time has developed and built their approach to ESG.
ESG is at the heart of the investment strategy at Pollen Street. She says, 'we really believe in the potential for positive impact through the investments we make. It is through this lens that we assess opportunities to invest wisely, rather than just applying ESG checklists'
She goes on to say, 'within our team we collect both core ESG metrics and relevant measures of positive impact for our credit partners. We continue to improve and align reporting linked to our Pollen Street ESG framework and also in line with regulatory requirements. And actually as a firm we have set a target to be carbon neutral by the end of 2022'.
