Mobilum Technologies Inc announced it had signed an agreement to integrate into Ledger Live Platform, a gateway for digital assets and Web3.
Under the terms of the agreement, Vancouver-based Mobilum will integrate its gift card off-ramp widget into the Ledger app.
Ledger, which was founded in 2014, develops products and services for individuals and companies to securely buy, store, swap, grow and manage crypto assets.
The Ledger hardware wallets line has more than four mllion units sold in 180 countries.
By offering Mobilum’s gift cards solutions, Ledger’s users will have more options to convert crypto back into fiat currency, according to Mobilum’s CEO Wojciech Kaszycki.
"We are thrilled to integrate our off-ramp solution into Ledger, one of the largest hardware wallet ecosystems in the world,” Kaszycki said in a statement.
Through its partnership with Phaze and Mobilum, Ledger Live customers will be able to make the most of their crypto by issuing digital gift cards, digital cash cards or digital prepaid mobile top-ups with over 2,000 brands and 500 mobile carriers, according to a statement.
Full integration into Ledger is expected by the end of 2021.
