Neo Lithium Corp (TSX-V:NLC) said its shareholders have approved the previously-announced plan of arrangement with Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd at a special meeting of shareholders held today for that purpose. Zijin will acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Neo Lithium, with Neo Lithium shareholders receiving C$6.50 in cash for each common share held. A total of 52,609,268 votes were cast by holders of common shares, representing 37.20% of the total issued and outstanding common shares. Of those votes cast, 48,569,777 common shares, representing 92.578%, were voted in favour of the transaction. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022, at which point the company's common shares will be de-listed from the TSX Venture Exchange.
