Thesis Gold Inc (TSX-V:TAU) has announced that initial interpretation of results from a large, induced polarization (IP) survey on the Patti and Steve prospects at its wholly-owned Ranch gold-copper project in British Columbia have identified “coincident high resistivity and moderate to high chargeability anomalies,” which have the same geophysical fingerprint as recently-drilled epithermal gold mineralization at the Bonanza, Thesis II and Thesis III prospects 3 kilometers to the north.
The company said the IP data, along with alteration mapping, soil and rock geochemistry, and grab samples up to 45.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, indicate several epithermal targets with a potential porphyry source at 300 meters (m) depth that have never been drill tested.
“Our systematic exploration program on the project this year has proven very effective at delineating new targets,” Thesis Gold CEO Ewan Webster said in a statement.

“These 3D IP results are very exciting and have certainly generated compelling epithermal targets and a possible deeper porphyry source. Drill planning is now underway as we look to test these new targets in 2022,” Webster added.
Thesis noted that recent drill results from the Bonanza prospect included 7m of 82.48 g/t gold from a depth of only 26m downhole.
