Blackbird PLC (AIM:BIRD, OTCQX:BBRDF)'s (Blackbird PLC (AIM:BIRD, OTCQX:BBRDF), Blackbird PLC (AIM:BIRD, OTCQX:BBRDF)) Ian McDonough joins Proactive London's Katie Pilbeam to talk about their raise of approximately £8mln via a placing at 28p a pop.
The placing represents around 7.8% of the enlarged issued share capital of the company.
It intends to use the funds to develop the company's technology offering in new markets, increase staffing levels, expand the company’s patent portfolio and conduct research & development.
McDonough says the company is excited by the opportunities offered by new markets.
