Pathway Health (TSX-V:PHC) Corp said it has entered three major agreements so far in 2021, streamlining its medical cannabis offerings through pharmacies, and gradually entering the third wave, also called Cannabis 3.0. The company’s most recent collaboration was recorded with Metro Ontario Pharmacies Limited, a subsidiary of Metro Inc. (TSX:MRU) The signed contracts with pharmacies have two components, the Toronto-based company said. i-80 Gold Corp has posted final drill results from first phase drilling at its Granite Creek mine project in Humboldt county, Nevada, which its said confirms the potential for a high-grade open pit mine. Drilling in the CX-Pit area was undertaken for geotechnical and metallurgical purposes ahead of the permitting process for an open pit mine with on-site processing. Highlight drill assays included an intercept of 51.1 metres (m) starting from a depth of 83.7m, which hit 6.8 grams per ton (g/t) of gold in one hole. Another hit 36.74 g/t of the precious metal over 9.1m from a depth of 283.5m. "We continue to realize substantial success in numerous areas at Granite Creek, including the completion of open pit drilling in advance of permit applications", said Matt Gili, the chief operating officer (COO) of i-80 in a statement.

FPX Nickel Corp (TSX-V:FPX) has revealed results from the first phase of its metallurgical test program that it said demonstrates the potential for a “significant increase” in nickel recovery at its Baptiste project in British Columbia. Phase 1 testwork confirmed the flowsheet in the preliminary economic assessment (PEA) and showed the potential to achieve nickel recoveries up to 5% higher than the 85% Davis Tube Recoverable (DTR) nickel recovery assumed in the 2020 PEA, according to FPX. Testing also confirmed material from Baptiste as consistent, medium-hard to hard, and mildly abrasive across all mining phases, which FPX said points toward a consistent grinding requirement in sync with the PEA basis.
Algernon Pharmaceuticals Inc told investors it now has potentially enough clinical-grade supply of its DMT psychedelic compound to complete its planned Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials for stroke and appointed two medical experts in the field as consultants. The drug-repurposing company is advancing AP-188 (N,N-Dimethyltryptamine, or DMT) as a potential treatment for stroke and the manufacturing was completed at Canadian manufacturer Dalton Pharma Services. Meanwhile, UK-based Dr Anthony Rudd and Dr Robert Simister have been named as consultants for its DMT stroke clinical research program, of which the Phase 1 part in London is earmarked to begin in January 2022. Their main responsibility will be to help guide the Phase 2 acute stroke and post-stroke therapy clinical trials in the UK planned for the latter part of 2022 after the Phase 1 trial has been completed, said Algernon.
Victory Resources Inc said it has received a drill permit to commence drilling on its Smokey Lithium property in Esmeralda County, Nevada. As a result of the extensive exploration work and analysis conducted to date, the company said its exploration team has already identified drill targets that will determine whether a relationship exists to the high lithium (Li) zone on the adjacent Jindalee property. The drill permit was expanded from the original four holes to 15 holes based upon further analysis by its exploration team, which included locations of key targets for drill holes.
Cypress Development Corp (TSX-V:CYP, OTCQB:CYDVF) has announced the completion of the purchase of its permit for water rights in Clayton Valley, Nevada, which is necessary to develop its lithium project in the state. The Vancouver-based company purchased the water rights from Intor Resources Corp, a subsidiary of Nevada Sunrise Gold Corp, for US$2 million in cash and US$850,000 worth of Cypress shares. The permit allows for the appropriation of the public waters from the State of Nevada in the amount of 1,770 acre-feet of groundwater per year for mining, milling and domestic applications, according to a statement from Cypress.
CytoDyn Inc has announced that its contract research organization (CRO) in Brazil, Albert Einstein Israelite Hospital, has met with the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) and received its agreement to modify the CD16 trial for critically ill coronavirus (COVID-19) patients. Following ANVISA’s authorization, the company said it will submit the revised protocol for CD16 providing for a reduction in total enrollment from 330 to 126 patients, with interim efficacy analysis by a data safety monitoring board (DSMB) after 40% of patients are enrolled and have completed follow-up to Day 28. “We are optimistic that our CRO in Brazil will be able to enroll 51 patients and conduct an interim analysis of the results in 1Q 2022, with the potential for meeting the primary endpoint at the time of interim analysis,” CytoDyn’s president and CEO Dr. Nader Pourhassan said in a statement.

The Toronto, Ontario-based junior mineral exploration company said the drill intercept is from a 5.5 kilometer (km) long area of “elevated metal values” in the soil — one of many such zones in the 22 km long, 3 km wide, Tiria-Shimpia target area in the central part of the company's Lost Cities - Cutucu project area. For context, Aurania pointed out that the resource grade at Glencore's McArthur River Mine in Australia, formerly known as the HYC base metal deposit, was reported to be 237 million tonnes of 9.2% zinc, 4.1% lead and 41 g/t silver, arranged in eight layers that are 1m-to-5m thick. The McArthur River base metals deposit extended over 2 square kilometers.

Nabis Holdings Inc said it has obtained a final order from the Supreme Court of British Columbia approving the previously announced plan of arrangement under the British Columbia Business Corporations Act. Under the Plan of Arrangement, Nabis will repurchase all of its 5.3% senior unsecured notes due January 25, 2023, for an amount equal to $64 for each $100 principal amount of notes outstanding, which shall, and shall be deemed to, be received in full and final settlement of all notes. The 5.3% senior unsecured notes were delisted at the market close on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
