Seraphim Space Investment Trust PLC (LSE:SSIT), which targets early and growth stage space technology companies, announced it will appoint Angela Lane as a fourth non-executive director with effect from the new year.
Lane has decades of experience working with private equity-owned companies, investment trusts, and as chair of audit and remuneration committees.
She began her career overseeing the UK growth capital portfolio of venture capital firm 3i before becoming chair of a variety of private equity-backed businesses.
She will also be part of the audit, management engagement, and remuneration and nomination committees, before she takes on the role of chair of the audit committee from 30 June.

Lane is currently a non-executive director at BlackRock (NYSE:BLK) Throgmorton Investment Trust PLC, Pacific Horizon Investment Trust (LSE:PHI) PLC, and Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust PLC where she also chairs the audit team.
