Pantoro's Scotia Mining Centre at Norseman continues to impress with more high-grade gold results

Results to date give strong confidence that the upcoming mineral resource and ore reserve update will be “significant” and add further high-grade ounces and mine life to the Phase One mine plan.

Pantoro Ltd (ASX:PNR)’s recent step-out drilling at Green Lantern mineral resource and ongoing expansion drilling at Scotia Deeps, both within Scotia Mining Centre at the Norseman Gold Project, continue to impress with strong high-grade results.

Results to date give strong confidence that the upcoming mineral resource and ore reserve update will be “significant” and add further high-grade ounces and mine life to the Phase One mine plan.

The recent high-resolution drone magnetic survey identified prospective structures while the resultant step-out drilling demonstrated strong mineralisation 300 metres to the south of the current Green Lantern resource.

Drilling within Scotia Deeps continued to confirm the continuity of mineralisation within areas that are inferred resource or unclassified mineralisation.

Production plant on schedule

Pantoro managing director Paul Cmrlec said: “The Scotia Mining Centre continues to impress with outstanding high-grade results consistently being returned from areas outside of the current ore reserve.

“The results to date give strong confidence that the forthcoming mineral resource and ore reserve update will be significant, adding further high-grade ounces and mine life to the current Phase One mine plan.

“Processing plant construction is progressing in line with the schedule, with production expected to commence in August 2022.

An upgraded whole of mine plan is expected to be in place at the commencement of production.”

Green Lantern

High grade intercepts consistent with those seen in the existing Green Lantern deposit were returned.

Results returned on this line in two holes were:

➢ 3 metres at 11.58 g/t gold from 61 metres;

➢ 2 metres at 4.19 g/t from 16 metres; and

➢ 10 metres at 2.62 g/t from 94 metres including 2 metres at 9.97 g/t from 99 metres.

Infill drilling continues in the inferred areas of the existing Green Lantern mineral resource and the results have continued to meet model expectations.

Scotia Deeps results

The Scotia orebody presents a high-grade underground opportunity that is open in all directions below the planned open pit and has the potential to be substantially larger than the currently defined mine plan.

Additional high-grade underground ounces will directly extend mine life and potentially increase annual gold production.

The results include:

➢ 4 metres at 25.32 g/t from 203 metres;

➢ 2 metres at 7.16 g/t from 146 metres;

➢ 2 metres at 8.99 g/t from 258 metres;

➢ 1.3 metres at 14.09 g/t from 396.7 metres;

➢ 3.28 metres at 10.15 g/t from 303 metres;

➢ 2.1 metres at 44.60 g/t from 322.9 metres;

➢ 15.7 metres at 6.8 g/t from 332 metres including 1 metre at 47.00 g/t from 346.7 metres;

➢ 2 metres at 11.69 g/t from 238 metres;

➢ 6 metres at 4.13 g/t from 222 metres;

➢ 4 metres at 5.2 g/t from 266 metres;

➢ 9.2 metres at 4.02 g/t from 394.4 metres;

➢ 0.6 metres at 70.65 g/t from 472.6 metres;

➢ 4 metres at 4.77 g/t from 226 metres;

Scotia Mining Centre

The Scotia Mining Centre has a mineral resource of 10.618 million tonnes at 2.2 g/t gold for 753,000 ounces and an ore reserve of 4.216 million tonnes at 2.2 g/t for 298,000 ounces.

A mineral resource and ore reserve update is planned for the March 2022 quarter, with modelling to commence in January 2022.

Drilling in the area is ongoing with six active drill rigs deployed.
